Tim Burke

Research Coordinator


 

Tim Burke is coordinating the research for an executive session and book project exploring the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in transforming how communities address social services and public problems. Burke is a 2006 graduate of the McCormack Graduate School of Policy Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he studied international relations with a focus on democracy promotion in U.S. foreign policy. Prior to joining the Ash Institute, Burke interned in the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. He has also enjoyed nonprofit roles in the areas of affordable housing, youth development, and community relations. Burke received a B.S. in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997.
